We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the quality of the plates you received. I can assure you that our plates are made from solid brass, only our outlets are made of plastic. Due to US electrical code all outlets must be made of non-conductive material such as plastic to prevent arc issues and electrical fires.

Happy with the dimmer performance and design. Smooth dimming of my LED lighting. I mixed finishes with antique brass knobs and bronze plates. Looks great.

Solid feel, smooth dimming action. The clean backplate looks great in every room.
Only challenge - the clamp attachment to secure the plate to the box can be a challenge to secure and get flush with the wall. Worth it once complete

Beautiful quality hardware. I’m just worried it will always have fingerprints, something that wasn’t a consideration with the beautiful unlaquered brass.

Switches seem to break easy, this is the first time working with Corston on this project. The door hardware was very hard to install and the handles seemed very tight. We had to shave the door plates for them to close properly. I did the whole house with the kew and grove switches and dimmers. I had 4 bad ones, they didn't work properly. If you moved the switch around it would work. Contact wasn't great. Overall the product is beautiful but installation was difficult and Im worried about how long they will last..

Compared to competitors, specifically Ozarke, this feels like plastic and it comes at a considerably higher price. It does not click into a closed position, and does not feel as luxurious. Would look for other brands first.
